About Me

I graduated with a Doctor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne, and worked in a private practice in Sydney, before moving back home to Melbourne to further my skills as a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist. I have undertaken further training in Dry Needling and Pelvic Health, and am a Certified APPI Equipment Pilates Instructor.

In my high school years, I spent several years as a dancer, as well as competing at a national level in Sport Aerobics. In 2021 I discovered my true passion for performance when I began training in Aerial Silks. What began as a hobby has since grown into a passion, and I now perform and compete on both Aerial Silks and Straps. With a deep understanding of the physical demands of Aerial Arts, particularly on the pelvic floor, I aim to provide targeted, holistic, and empathetic care, to help my clients return to what they love.

For the last few years I have been working primarily as a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, including working with pre and postnatal women, and those with continence issues, as well as hip and pelvic conditions. I am particularly interested in helping artists return to performance postpartum, by utilising my knowledge and experience in Aerial Arts to help develop effective return to performance programs.

I strive to get to know my clients, and bring an element of empathy and compassion to my care. I believe that exercise rehabilitation is pivotal to help improve both physical and mental health, and promote long-term recovery. I have an integrated, evidence-based approach to treatment, which combines manual therapy techniques and exercise therapy including clinical pilates, to ensure my clients achieve optimal outcomes.

Outside of work, I enjoy walking my cavoodle Charlie, watching movies with my fiancé, and spending time up in the air training for Aerial performances.

Sense Pelvic Health Physiotherapy

In March 2026 Jess Frydenberg and I decided to come together and rebrand 18 physio to create Sense Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, with our very own clinic in Malvern!

We are so excited and proud to have our own space, where we can continue to care for individuals of all genders, particularly with pelvic floor dysfunction.

Jess and I started working together, as she is currently doing a PhD on pelvic floor dysfunction in performers - this area is a mutual interest to both of us, particularly with my recent focus on pelvic floor physiotherapy for aerialists and pole dancers.

We will be building up this niche clientele more and more over the coming months, watch this space for more updates, or visit https://sensepelvicphysio.com/
