Postpartum Return to Aerials Course
This course is aimed at women who are more than 6 weeks postnatal, and are looking for a safe return to exercise postpartum, including return to aerial or pole training or teaching. For many women aerial or pole may be their career, or a significant part of their health and wellbeing, therefore I want to help guide you through how to prepare your body for the demands of aerial/pole, and return safely to avoid injury.
The program will consist of 2 × 1.5 hour small group workshops (maximum 3 participants). These sessions will include an education component on how to optimise postnatal recovery (particularly in relation to pelvic floor and abdominals), an individual assessment for abdominal separation, a supervised exercise component which is tailored to each participant’s level of function, and prescription of a home exercise program.

8-Week Aerial Strengthening Program (Details TBC)
This program will be aimed at those who want to level up or progress more quickly on their chosen aerial apparatus, but are finding it challenging, due to lack of targeted strengthening, or a return to aerial after a break or pregnancy.
This class will aim to target the right muscles you need to succeed in aerial arts, guided by a Women's Health physiotherapist.
Each participant will be monitored for technique, to ensure optimal strength gain and reduce impact on the pelvic floor.
The first session will involve baseline strength measures, which will be re-assessed in the final class in the program.
The program will include one class per week plus a home program to be completed 2x a week for optimal results.
